Chicken in Coconut milk gravy

This recipe was adapted from here. This original recipe was for Mutton, but i used the same for chicken. This came out well.

Chicken - 1lb (cut into medium sized pieces)
Potatoes - 2 (medium sized pieces and boiled)
Red onion - 1 (sliced)
Small onion - 5iced)
Ginger garlic paste - 2tbsp
Coriander powder - 2tsp
Chilli powder - 1tsp
Garam masala powder - 1tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4tsp
Pepper powder - 1/2tsp
Green chillies - 2
Coconut milk - 1 cup (i use maggi's coconut milk powder)
Curryleaves - as needed
Oil - 3tbsp

In a pan heat oil and fry both sliced onions, green chillies and curry leaves. Now add the masala powders.Sautre till the oil separates. Now add the chicken and salt and cook until chicken is fully cooked. Finally add potatoes .Now lower the flame and add the coconut milk.Heat for few minutes on low flame, don't let it boil.Serve this gravy with rice or roti.
